Why would I want Marshal Public Safety to protect my property?

Police budgets are shrinking due to the economy causing less police services and longer police response times. With raising crime rates throughout the country, business owners find themselves in a difficult position when it comes to the protection of their property and minimizing their risk. Per Warren v. District of Columbia, 444 A.2d 1 (D.C. App.1981)IT IS NOT the duty of police to protect the individual citizen” and as a result to this ruling, many businesses have found added protection through the contracting of private security companies whose duty IS to protect the individual citizen.

Marshal Public Safety acts as the property owner’s proxy and has many of the same powers as public police officers do when within the boundaries of the property we are contracted to protect.  In few instances, Marshal Public Safety has more power and authority than a police officer due to the fact that our officers are not a representative of the government, and therefore they’re not bound to many of the same constitutional restraints as public police officers are bound by such as the 4th Amendment.

Due to not being as restrained by the U.S. Constitution as police officers are, Marshal Public Safety is in a unique position to be more proactive in stopping crime before it takes place and maintain the power and authority to address crime and its perpetrators when it does. Because we have no responsibility to the protection of the general public at large, your protection will never be prioritized with numerous other calls for police services.  When you become a client of Marshal Public Safety, we are there for your protection specifically.  Our clients, their businesses', and assets' protection are our only priority, and this proactive approach to crime prevention yields the most significant results in the reduction of civil liability, crime, and loss of assets against their businesses and properties.
