What are Marshal Public Safety’s methods of protection?

The ultimate goal of Marshal Public Safety is the prevention of loss to its clients through civil and criminal incidents taking place within the boundaries of their properties.  We also seek to minimize police response and police reports generated that could lead to unnecessary court cost, ordinance violations, and Common Counsel Hearings for our clients.  In our pursuit of accomplishing this end, we realize that every aspect of our operation must be proactively focused driven on Public Safety and Liability Prevention.

In order to meet our mission objective of Public Safety and Liability Prevention, Marshal Public Safety has adopted Lawrence Cohen's and Marcus Felson's theory of the “Crime Prevention Triangle”

triangle

The concept of the Crime Prevention Triangle simply states that in order for a crime to occur, all three elements of the crime triangle must exist:

DESIRE, ABILITY & OPPORTUNITY

DESIRE: A criminal’s desire to commit a crime.

ABILITY: The criminal’s ability to commit the crime or violation.

OPPORTUNITY: The criminal’s opportunity to commit a successful crime.

If any one of these three elements are removed, a crime cannot take place. Therefore no victim can exist. We at Marshal Public Safety seek to proactively prevent crime and rule violations by removing every opportunity, desire, and ability for a person to commit a crime against our clients, or commit a crime/violation while on our client’s property.

We have found that proactively preventing the conditions that lead to crime yields better results than simply “standing guard” as most security companies, and reacting only after a crime is committed and someone has been victimized.
